About This Site
Rolling Homes Press publishes 6
books for camping travelers and RVers. Our first two books cover Mexico and Alaska;
two areas we have found especially well suited for this type of travel.
These books are truly unique travel guides designed to help fill the very
different information needs of visitors who recognize the many benefits of
travel with a vehicle while spending the night in a campground. Both of these books are updated on a regular basis. Mexico is in it's fourth edition, Alaska is in its fifth edition.
In January 2001 we published Traveler's
Guide to Camping Mexico's Baja. This new book includes the Baja-related
information from our other Mexico book as well as campground information about Puerto
Peñasco. This book is in its fourth edition with all of the information updated after research during the spring of
2008. Click here to take a look.
In June 2004 we published RV and Car Camping Vacations In
Europe. This is our second Europe book (the first one went to three editions but is now out of print) and is designed for folks who want
to make a quick vacation trip to Europe. It has detailed information about
how to rent a car or RV. The meat of the book is 10 suggested tours. This
section makes your Europe trip easy. There are places to stay and things
to do, as well as driving directions, for tours all over Europe.
In 2006 we published two new books about
western U.S. destinations. The first is Pacific Northwest Camping Destinations covering destinations and campgrounds in Oregon, Washington, and British
Columbia as far north as Dawson Creek, which is where our Alaska book
takes over. The Northwest book is now in its second edition.
The second title is Southwest Camping Destinations. This book covers
Arizona, New Mexico, Southeast Utah, the southern California desert
country, and some northwestern Mexico destinations including San Felipe,
Puerto Peñasco, Kino Bay and San Carlos/Guaymas. In addition to our normal
information for camping travelers there is a chapter for Snowbird
RVers with details about the huge snowbird destinations in Yuma, Mesa, and
other places in the Southwest. The Southwest book is also in its second editon, it was published in 2008.

We love to hear from readers, especially if they have some new information about
campgrounds or destinations that they are willing to share. If we've met you during our
travels please drop us a line and let us know what you're up to. We're on the road
outside the U.S. at
least six months each year so we're unable to answer all of our messages, but we try.
