Moving Northwest - Through the Gorge and North to Seattle
It's time to think about getting north to British Columbia, so we worked our way west through the Columbia Gorge and up to Seattle.
Columbia Gorge
The Columbia River passes through the Cascade Mountains on it's way to the ocean just east of Portland. It's a transportation corridor for highways, railways, and river traffic - but it's also a recreation hot spot.

Seattle
We visited Seattle's Pioneer Square, Pike Place Market, and Waterfront - always a pleasant way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
