This week we headed for the Baja. A last minute change of plans took us to San Diego to have dinner with old friends Jula and Volker Biebesheimer.
The next day we crossed at Tecate and spent our first night near Ensenada at the Estero Beach Resort. We have Terri's brother Fred along on this part of the trip and we thought he'd appreciate the views of the estero, the restaurant, and the hot tub.
Although we wanted to stay longer, the next day we drove south to El Rosario and poor weather. We had dinner at Mama Espinosa's and spent the night at the Motel Sinahi RV Park. The WiFi there was nice - but we didn't enjoy the rain at all.
Sunday night found us in Guerrero Negro. This was our first chance for a whale-watching tour but we passed on that. Too much wind for us. We did find time, however, for a birding trip out to the old pier.
